No legal claims arise from contributing to
Operation Good Cause 2019.
Contributions are not donations, they are not tax-deductible
and
Operation Good Cause 2019 itself is not a charity.
Contributions are made independently from the raffle and are not refundable. Operation Good Cause 2019 will transfer all money collected till the end of Operation Good Cause 2019 to the ICRC and this transfer will be revised by an independent third party. We reserve the right to use funds raised from the raffle to cover shipping costs to the winner.
Operation Good Cause 2019 is not responsible for a cancelation of the raffle due to force majeure.
Further,
Operation Good Cause 2019 is not responsible for loss of goods (for
example during shipping), although we will do anything reasonable to minimize
the risk of such loss.
Give-aways may be provided by third parties. Although
Operation Good Cause 2019 promises to do anything reasonable to ensure smooth
processing of any give-aways, we are not responsible for loss of goods (for
example during shipping) and we can not be held responsible if a third party
refuses to provide a give-away.
The winner of the raffle will be drawn randomly using a list of all contribution in chronological order. The winning number will be generated by a member of the team without knowlegde of this list using random.org.
Personal data of contributors will be stored in a safe manner until the end of Operation Good Cause 2019. By taking part in Operation Good Cause 2019 you agree that your full name and hometown will be named publicly in case you win the main prize or any give-away during the campaign. We will delete all data collected after Operation Good Cause 2019 has ended.
If you feel uncomfortable with any of these points, we highly recommend to donate to the charity of your choice directly. That way you won’t be eligible to take part in the raffle, but you still did something good.
By contributing money to Operation Good Cause 2019 you accept the aforementioned conditions.
